Jodi Anasta will always be known as one of Australia’s silver screen sweethearts and most popular red carpet goers; a true Australian style icon. In 2004, Jodi successfully auditioned for the role of Martha Mackenzie in the popular Channel Seven drama, Home & Away, where she spent four years and was awarded with a TV Week Logie for Most Popular New Female Talent in 2006 and was nominated for Most Popular Actress in 2009. Proving that acting isn’t her only forte, in 2008 Jodi took to the dance floor on Channel Seven’s Dancing with the Stars.
In 2011, Jodi’s acting career began to heat up as she made her feature film debut in The Cup playing the lead role of Trish Oliver, wife of famed jockey Damien Oliver telling the Australian folklore story of a star racehorse’s 2002 Melbourne Cup win. 2011 also saw Jodi picked up by Working Dob Productions (producers of The Castle & The Dish) to play an ensemble role in the hit Australian romantic comedy Any Questions for Ben alongside Rachel Taylor, which was released in 2012. Later in 2012, Jodi featured in Channel Nine’s top rating series Underbelly Badness.
Further cementing her widespread popularity and commercial appeal, Jodi has fronted campaigns and acted as an ambassador for leading Australian fashion brands Tony Bianco shoes, Crystelle Lingerie, Nike ‘She Runs The Night’ event in 2013, Myer exclusive brand Piper, Diva Accessories and Australian owned natural skincare range, Puretopia. Proving worthy of her fashion-elite title, Jodi was selected as an ATC Spring Racing Ambassador in 2014, 15 & 16. An ambassador for one of Australia’s largest department stores, Jodi represented Myer on the fashion front across PR, advertising and events from 2012 to 2017.
Being active has always been a very important part of Jodi’s life and as such she was delighted to have been announced as an ambassador for global active wear brand, Puma in 2016. Alongside this, Jodi has also been a brand ambassador for Mazda.
Jodi can now also add the term accessory designer to her resume thanks to the exciting collaboration with luxury leather brand, Mon Purse, which saw her design a capsule collection for the brand in 2016.
Most recently, Jodi announced her return to the silver screen in 2016, where she has has been a hit with fans ever since. She was cast as school teacher, Elly Conway on the popular show Neighbours, which has a cult following in Australia and the UK.
Jodi’s loyal and engaged 238K+ social media following see her as a source of inspiration and style icon, securing a position as style muse for Voodoo Hosiery in early 2017.
Jodi currently splits her time between Melbourne and Sydney’s eastern suburbs where she lives with her three year old daughter, Aleeia.
