Jacqueline has established herself as a leading nutritionist, health writer and presenter, with an in-demand nutrition practice and wholefoods catering company, The Brown Paper Bag. The Brown Paper Bag was born from a very simple concept. With an early love affair for food, Jacqueline found that her family couldn’t keep up with her cooking ventures, so she would bundle little treats up in a brown paper bag and share them with her friends and neighbours. This concept is what brought The Brown Paper Bag to life, and to its strength today. Jacqueline’s ethos is about making delicious, wholesome food that is enriched with wonderful nutrition and sharing the experience with those around you. “When you have a taste of just how good healthy is, really, there’s no reason to look back. A good diet and healthy food, doesn’t have to ever be boring or complex, it’s a space to find your creativity, learn and share a truly incredible experience in food and health.”
Today, Jacqueline and her team in The Brown Paper Bag kitchen create nourishing wholefoods and recipes in catering for events (corporate and private), health and cooking workshops, magazine publications, online videos, for The Brown Paper Bag blog and for Jacqueline’s partners in nutrition and health.
Jacqueline is also an accomplished public speaker, regularly appearing at health and wellness events both to speak, and provide engaging cooking demonstrations.
The sharing doesn’t stop there, Jacqueline is a regular health writer for many health and well ness publications, and has contributed to many well known publications such as The Cusp, RUSSH, Men’s Health, Good Health, Prevention, GMHBA, FMTV, Elle, Marie Claire, Sporteluxe, Dolly, Cleo and Girlfriend magazines, amidst appearances on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show and Today Extra on Nine.
Currently, Jacqueline is currently busy working as an ambassador, content and recipe creator and consulting nutritionist for Jurlique along with her ongoing role as an ambassador for Remedy Kombucha.
Jacqueline has worked on numerous campaigns in the nutrition and health space for The Cook’s Grocer, Tetley Tea, Brita, Breville Australia, Australia Beef (MLA), FIVE:AM Organics, Bioglan Superfoods, UberEats and more.
Jacqueline is also a published author – her book Seasons to Share features 130 simple, versatile recipes collected into sixteen seasonal menus. Each dish is delicious devoured on its own, or served as part of a larger meal for family and friends.
Away from the kitchen, you’ll find Jacq doing laps of the soft sand highway that is Bondi, and surfing with her son Jet.
