While some models shy away from the plus size tag, international model Fiona Falkiner has embraced it. First gracing our TV screens in 2005 as a contestant on Channel Ten’s reality weight-loss show The Biggest Loser, Fiona lost an impressive 30kg and finished in fourth place and being a clear crowd favourite.

Proving one of the show’s great success stories, 2015 saw Fiona head back to the Biggest Loser house as the new host of the rebranded TBL Families. Fiona offered a great source of support, compassion and inspiration to the contestants on what was a very emotional rollercoaster.

Over the past ten years, Fiona has continued her journey of body acceptance and spending some time travelling and studying makeup artistry, before quick-stepping her way onto the fifth series of Channel Seven’s popular series Dancing With The Stars.

It was her time overseas, living and working in both London and New York that really saw Fiona’s career sky-rocket. The 5ft 11in beauty was formerly the face of top plus-sized fashion label, Yours Clothing and is represented by Ok Models Hamburg and JAG Modelling in NYC.

Leading the way for plus-size models in Australia, Fiona hosted the opening night of the 2015 Telstra Perth Fashion Festival and Adelaide Fashion Festival featuring international labels Yang Li, Maticevski and 33 Poets.

Most recently Fiona has been announced as an ambassador for Target, a life long goal of hers having grown up with the brand in country Victoria. Fiona rocked the Target VAMFF runway with fellow ambassadors Jessica Mauboy, Dannii Minogue and Sonia Kruger. This is the perfect fit for Fiona as Target celebrates people of all shapes and sizes!

Now a size 16, Fiona is at her happiest and most confident. Dedicated to inspiring others to love themselves and their body more, Fiona was recently announced as ambassador for Trimfit Bodies – A fitness program designed for real men and woman based around nutrition, exercise and mindset.

Fiona has cemented herself as an inspiration for real women of all sizes in Australia, regularly sharing her journey and health advice with key publications such as Body & Soul, Woman’s Day, New Idea.. She even scored the first ever plus sized model magazine cover for Maxim Australia!

Not one to shy from sharing her personal story, she’s especially vocal about the fact she’s on the hunt for the man of her dreams. Fiona recently took on a 3 month ambassador role with eHarmony that has seen her go on some great dates and try something different.

From the small country town of Birregurra, Victoria, all the way to the international fashion stage, Fiona does not run from a challenge and knows what it takes to reach your health, fitness and career goals.
Away from the camera, Fiona loves spending time back home in Australia with friends and family and when she is away she takes time travel blogging for Expedia.
